The Libraries serve the research and teaching needs of the campus and also serve the community as the regional research library for the Inland Empire. The Special Collections & Archives Department at the University of California, Riverside houses rare books, manuscripts, archival materials, photographs, videotapes, broadsides, and other media formats covering a wide range of special subject areas.
