Our Purposes o work for the improvement and extension of library services. To represent the community of library users in all matters relating to the library. To act as a resource group on library matters to the Shire Council, especially with regards to the needs and wishes of the community. To educate the community and Shire Council on the role of the library and the way in which its resources and services may best be developed. To provide a forum for discussion on library matters. The Owls was incorporated in late 2004. We publish a quarterly newsletter, and hold occasional events. We have also established a regular storytelling session for preschoolers, which is held on the last Thursday of every month, at the library.
